A phizz-whizzing, gloriumptious term of events

Parent Consultations
Nearly New Uniform Sale
An excellent chance to replace lost items or pick up some spares. Visit the stall during the parent consultations on 1 and 2 November. Donations of badged uniform items greatly appreciated, pop them in the giant box outside the school office.
Autumn raffle
Local businesses have been very generous this term, giving some super prizes to help us raise money for the school. So don’t forget to pick up a few tickets on your way to see the teacher. You might be in for two lots of good news!

‘An Evening with a Sparkle’ Thursday 16th November
6.30pm to 8.30pm
This year’s Christmas shopping evening promises over 15 stalls. Each offering the sort of thoughtful and stylish gifts that aren’t always easy to find. Pop in for a Prosecco (free to the first 50 people) and tick a few special gifts off your list. The school choir and our talented instrumentalists will be there to make the season come alive. If you’d like take a stall for £20, contact bonalyfundraising@hotmail.co.uk.

Christmas Fair Saturday 2 December 10am to 12pm.
Save the date and join us for tombola, children’s crafts, the ever delicious baking stall plus lots more including a visit from a certain special someone.
Christmas cards This week in school the children have been designing their Christmas cards. More information will follow when the card artwork comes home to you with an order form, but here are some key dates to bear in mind. The cards will be returned home and each will have a unique code on the back. This code should be used to place online orders – all orders MUST be placed online. Please be aware that the school will not be able to accept money for orders. Please return artwork by 26 October latest. The company will collect the cards from school on 27th October, they will be scanned and returned back to school by 2nd November. Deadline for all orders is 9 November. Estimated date of dispatch 16 November. Wrapping paper and gift tags are also available. Samples of these, as well as the cards, will be available to view at school reception from week beginning 30 October. We are using the same company as last year – APFS (Arts Projects for Schools). During the same process last year, the printing company used by APFS filed for bankruptcy, which caused problems with a few orders. APFS have been operating successfully for 15 years and we have been reassured by them that this will not happen again. They are now using a different printer. We do not anticipate any difficulties this year but completely understand if some parents are reluctant to participate. Please remember there is no obligation to make any purchase. We hope that the children have fun designing the cards and that your family and friends enjoy receiving them.

Easyfundraising

easyfundraising.org.uk is a great way to raise money for charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes just by shopping online. You don’t pay anything extra.

You simply register on the site and choose Bonaly as your cause. When you are shopping online you logon to the site and are then redirected to your chosen shopping website (all of the major retailers are listed covering clothes, gifts, holidays and lots more). You make your purchases as normal and then Easyfundraising will pay a percentage to Bonaly, you need do nothing more.

We currently have 48 members raising funds for us who have raised a total of £1,563.
